Some of my personal revelations from the Tibetan Book of the Dead:

- Manifest reality is the path, there is no finding the path, there is no getting on the path, there is no falling off the path.

- The aim of liberation in the death bardos is the same idea as the aim of liberation in the life bardos.

- Liberation in the death bardos is easier than in the life bardos, however, the ability to attain liberation in the death bardos relies on cultivation in the life bardos.

- What I'm looking forward to in death, is what I should be looking for in life. I don't know if that's right.

I need to keep trying to commit suicide. That may be where the passion lies. I don't know if that's right, either. But try something.

Digital photography Sept. 18-23 (Ricoh Caplio R4):

Monday, September 18, 4:37 p.m. - honkin' huge tea ball

4:16 p.m. - spy-shooting Hyun Ae outside of school. I don't think I've ever seen her this intense.

4:39 p.m. - She just looked real good that day. Maybe she got some.
Friday, September 22, 3:40 p.m. - Military plane landing at Songshan Airport with the Grand Hotel in the distance, from Xinsheng Park.

3:47 p.m. - Taipei Fine Arts Museum on Zhongshan N. Rd., Sec. 3.
3:50 p.m. - Keelung River flowing past the Yuanshan area where it dips south and then turns northwest until it drains into the Danshui River.
3:53 p.m. - Keelung River right where it dips south (turns left).
3:53 p.m. - That's my bike, so both of these pics were taken from the same position, I just turned to the left.
4:28 p.m. - Neihu District was undergoing widespread development, I think to make it a tech hub. The MRT brown line extension under construction would serve this general area.

4:29-4:44 p.m. - Lots of vacant lots and empty parking lots.
4:47 p.m. - Miramar Mall and a Carrefour hyper-mart already existed as anchors for development.

Saturday, September 23, 12:30 p.m. - Beian Rd., Neihu District. A second day of rolling photostroll. Lane 512 is a bit of a hidden tiny lane next to a church.
12:45 p.m. - Jiannan Rd. climbs out of Neihu near the Miramar Mall and over the top goes down into Shilin District to the north. It's not a long climb, but is steep in places. As far as cycling goes, it would be considered an easy climb for its brevity, but not for casual bicycling.
2:46 p.m. - Over the top of that climb into Shilin District goes past the National Palace Museum still on the way down, but very near the bottom.
1:31-1:33 p.m. - Plaza outside the National Palace Museum.
Spy-shooting since I have no one to take photos with because I'm forever alone, lol!
